Victoria Kerr

  • Registered Massage Therapist

As a former Canadian National Team athlete, Victoria continues to immerse herself in the rigorous training programs of her clients both professional and amateur. Her experience as an elite level athlete has enabled her to have an innate understanding of what it takes to get that competitive edge.

Graduating with honours from the massage therapy program at Algonquin College in 2003, Victoria strives to integrate her clinical experience with new techniques, in order to provide her patients the relief they need. Her passion for learning and sport has inspired her to pursue continuing education in Thai massage, sports massage, advanced stretching, flexibility training, sports injury and rehabilitation.

As a new Mom, Victoria understands the needs of women going through the wonderful experience of pregnancy. She has completed a number of courses in prenatal and infant massage, which can be an excellent way to address the physiological changes that occur during and after pregnancy and can also create an amazing bonding environment for both mother and father with their newborn baby.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Victoria continues to be an active member of the community and volunteers her free time to various charities such as United Way, Run for the Cure, and Juvenile Diabetes research.

As an integral part of the Active Health Institute, Victoria strongly believes in a multi-disciplinary approach and looks forward to contributing to the overall health and wellness of the Barrhaven (Ottawa) community.
