Hilary has always been intrigued by the healthful outcomes of body movement and motion. She has a true passion for leading a healthy, active lifestyle along with a love for the outdoors and delicious, nutritious food, has guided her career as a healthcare provider. Hilary’s time in the Ottawa Valley started as a rafting guide, and has since resulted in completetion of multiple half marathons and triathlons. Her daily life is enhanced by, the benefit and joy of various forms of physical activity and healthful living. The practice of Registered Massage Therapy awards her the privilege of working with body mechanics and promoting body functionality.
In keeping on with her spirit of healthful action, she has continued to develop skills to enhance patient health outcomes. Hilary has become certified in Neurofunctional Acupuncture at McMaster University, which has become integral to her treatments. The clinical outcomes have been so impressive that she was compelled to complete the Advanced Neurofunctional Sport Based Practitioner program in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture also at McMaster University. Currently, Hilary is studying Osteopathic manual therapy in order, to yet again, provide improved clinical outcomes of health, wellness and balance for her clients.
Hilary strongly believes that physical activity, and optimal nutrition are key elements to a balanced and healthy lifestyle. As a Registered Massage Therapist, her focus is to assist all her patients in achieving this balance by facilitating their freedom of movement, motion and pain relief.
